What Will You Do With Your Extra Hour?

How many times over the year have you wished that there were more hours in the day?  Well, this Sunday is the one day of the year that has 25 hours instead of the usual 24.  So what will you do with your extra hour?

Will you sleep in an extra hour?  Will you spend it doing something you love?  Will you use it to get caught up on a big project?

Don't let this extra hour pass you by unnoticed.  Enjoy it.  You've been wishing for it all year!  Use it to your advantage because in the spring it will be taken away again.

What will you do with your extra hour?

PS We all know that this is the time to change the batteries in the smoke detectors but when was the last time you changed your actual smoke detectors.  I realized recently that we have not bought new smoke detectors since we moved into this place 12 years ago.  Some manufacturers recommend changing them after 5 years.  If your smoke detectors are more than 10 years old it is time to change them.  Mr. P changed ours a couple of weeks ago.  For one of them, he took the battery out and put it in his pocket while he put up the new detector with a new battery.  He could feel heat on his leg.  When he reached into his pocket the battery was super hot!  So hot that he couldn't hang on to it.  He ended up throwing it into the yard to cool off.  I don't want to imagine what would have happened if the battery had done that while still on the wall in the detector!  How ironic would it have been to have a fire start in the smoke detector?!  So don't forget to change the batteries and replace the detectors if they are more than 10 years old.
